Your Salvation is in Jesus

Not in your church attendance and not in your pastor's opinion of your spiritual status.

Our salvation comes from Jesus alone.

Our salvation was purchased by the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, and we access that salvation by our confession of faith. That's it.

No man, no church determines our salvation. Our membership to an organization, or lack of membership to an organization, has exactly zero say in our eternity.

If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. - Romans 10:9-10 NIV

In Him you also, when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation, and believed in Him, were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until we acquire possession of it, to the praise of His glory. - Ephesians 1:13-14 ESV

Yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified. - Galatians 2:16 ESV
